Salary: $130,000 — $300,000 USD

What you will do

• Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services to ensure system stability.
• Design and implement architecture to handle significant increases in traffic.
• Develop and deploy new features to production using progressive rollouts and feature flags.
• Investigate and resolve production issues within owned services.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and prioritize high-impact technical projects.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design architecture for high-scale systems.
• Experience using AI coding tools to validate, critique, and refine output in daily workflows.
• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be eligible for required authorizations from the US government to conform to export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-scale systems such as Redis, Cassandra, or Kafka.
• Background in building data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of statistics.
• Significant experience with Go, C, or Python.
