What you will do

• Lead the 'New flex propositions' workstream to translate complex market dynamics into a clear, actionable long-term Flex strategy.
• Perform market research and quantitative simulations to design best-in-market dynamic contracts and time-of-use tariffs.
• Validate commercial viability of new products through thorough financial impact modelling and market research.
• Develop complex pricing algorithms and quantitative margin calculations for MVP concepts.
• Define target audiences, business outcomes, and pricing approaches, such as subscription or reward-based models.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner (Flex) and external partners like Kraken to maximize IT capabilities within the flex ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a strategic or analytical role specifically within the energy market.
• Deep understanding of the energy transition and the netting scheme (salderingsregeling) phase-out.
• Proven experience in designing MVPs, identifying target groups, and developing pricing/value propositions.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Ability to bridge the gap between deep-dive data analytics and high-level commercial strategy.
