What you will do

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group therapy.
• Develop, implement, and revise comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information to support patient rehabilitation.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Perform intake and readmission services, including supportive follow-up counseling.
• Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements and accrediting standards.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services-related field.
• Must possess current counseling credentials as required by the state.
• Ability to make sound decisions and use proper judgment regarding confidential and sensitive issues.
• Ability to react quickly and maintain professional composure in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of substance abuse populations and treatment planning.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
