What you will do

• Contribute to the re-architecture of electronic trading networks to improve latency, scalability, and resilience.
• Design and deploy network solutions following network-as-code principles using tools like Ansible.
• Produce and maintain high-level and low-level designs (HLD / LLD).
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for trading network environments.
• Perform packet-level analysis to diagnose latency, packet loss, or connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with trading, application, and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in trading or electronic trading network environments.
• Hands-on expertise with network infrastructure and routing (OSPF, BGP).
• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, and multicast.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and packet-level analysis for production-critical systems.
• Exposure to network automation or infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Must have existing work authorization for the UK; no visa sponsorship is offered.

Nice to have

• Experience with Arista network equipment and architectures.
• CCIE certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with firewalls, proxies, and load balancers (e.g., LTM, Web Gateways).
• Exposure to large-scale infrastructure transformation programmes.
