TL;DR

Brand Director (Marketing): Leading the long-term strategy and growth of the Hypegolf platform with an accent on contemporary golf culture, brand positioning, and community engagement. Focus on developing editorial direction, managing P&L, and executing high-impact brand activations at the intersection of golf, fashion, and lifestyle.

Location: Based and located in New York; candidate must be eligible to work in the US

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

What you will do

  • Build and refine Hypegolf’s long-term strategy and KPIs in conjunction with senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with the content lead to define the platform's visual and written voice and editorial direction.
  • Manage the vertical budget, P&L, and other program-related financial issues.
  • Foster and develop relationships with brands, tournaments, players, and talent in the golf space.
  • Develop brand-led marketing and activation ideas (tournaments, pop-up shops, merchandise) at the intersection of golf and fashion.
  • Partner with R&D, Project Management, and Sales to develop and bring golf innovations to market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in editorial, marketing, or creative agencies, with at least 3 years in a corporate setting.
  • Must be based in New York and eligible to work in the US.
  • Proven experience in community building through editorial, content, and IRL programs.
  • Strong knowledge of branding and brand building across various marketing platforms.
  • Experience in consumer goods industry marketing and working with brand influencers.

  • Understanding of creative, retail, distribution, and e-commerce.
