What you will do

• Provide strategic design leadership and vision to ensure projects align with agency goals.
• Establish design processes, systems, and SOPs to ensure predictable and repeatable results.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to build a design process that integrates well with technical constraints.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders to prioritize design projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Educate clients on design challenges and translate business objectives into compelling design solutions.
• Recruit, interview, and hire top design talent to grow the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in design leadership roles (or 3+ years with a premier design education).
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web design, UI/UX, and branding.
• Readiness to be hands-on and manage designs from concept to execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of design principles and UI/UX best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a WordPress, Drupal, or Enterprise CMS agency.
