TL;DR

Account Executive (Fintech): Driving growth for Australian SMEs by providing smarter payment and banking solutions with an accent on outbound lead generation and relationship building. Focus on managing the full sales cycle, identifying merchant pain points, and scaling the sales pipeline in a high-growth scale-up environment.

Location: Melbourne, Australia. General expectation of 4 days on-site per week with 1 day WFH

Salary: $75,000 + Commission + Equity

hirify.global is a fast-growing Australian scale-up reimagining business banking and payments for businesses of all sizes.

What you will do

  • Perform outbound lead generation via cold calling, email, door-to-door, and referrals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying to closing deals.
  • Analyze merchant pain points to formulate tailored financial and payment solutions.
  • Maintain a high-hygiene leads and deals pipeline using HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to relay merchant feedback.
  • Stay current on fintech, payments, and SME industry trends.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Senior BDR or SMB Account Executive.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quarterly revenue goals.
  • Experience in prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating complex B2B solutions.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM tools and Google Suite.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Melbourne CBD office.
  • Tertiary education or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or scale-up B2B sales.
  • Existing relationships with SME business owners and decision-makers.
