TL;DR

Account Executive (SMB) (Fintech): Driving growth for Australian SMEs by providing smarter payments and financial services solutions with an accent on outbound lead generation and relationship building. Focus on managing the full sales cycle, translating complex financial problems into sellable solutions, and scaling the sales pipeline.

Location: Hybrid (Melbourne CBD office), expecting 4 days on-site per week

What you will do

  • Prospect SMBs through outbound lead generation, door-to-door visits, cold calling, emails, and referrals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including planning, qualifying, due diligence, and closing new deals to exceed targets.
  • Formulate tailored hirify.global solutions by identifying and addressing specific merchant pain points.
  • Maintain a high-hygiene leads and deals pipeline with strict attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to relay product feedback.
  • Stay current on SME, fintech, payments, and competitor industry trends.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Senior BDR or SMB Account Executive.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quarterly revenue goals.
  • Experience in prospecting, evaluating buyer interest, and negotiating complex solutions.
  • Proficiency with Hubspot (or similar CRM) and Google Suite.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Melbourne CBD office (4 days on-site).
  • Tertiary education or a track record of relevant professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or B2B scale-up sales.
  • Established relationships with SME business owners and decision-makers.
