What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for dedicated product areas from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Collaborate with squads on strategy, roadmaps, and product decision-making to integrate design into engineering processes.
• Lead qualitative research and usability testing to translate user insights into actionable product direction.
• Define user journeys, information architecture, and interaction models for complex, data-rich workflows.
• Deliver high-fidelity, production-ready interfaces with a strong emphasis on layout, typography, and visual craft.
• Evolve the design system and design AI-native experiences that handle probabilistic outputs and human oversight.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design, ideally within B2B SaaS environments.
• Experience contributing to or owning a design system in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI-powered tools and designing AI-driven features.
• Track record of designing data-rich, workflow-heavy products, preferably in life sciences or biotech.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area for hybrid work (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office).
