Salary: $175,000 - $225,000

What you will do

• Translate complex customer problems into simple, performant backend solutions.
• Develop and optimize services using Django, Python, Postgres, and Redis.
• Integrate and optimize LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) for document processing and AI features.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to quickly iterate and ship value.
• Take full ownership of production systems, including debugging live issues and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Django experience in production.
• Strong expertise in database optimization, caching, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and debugging model behavior.
• Proficiency with AWS deployment practices and concepts.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area for hybrid office attendance (Tues/Wed/Thurs).
• Experience building highly scalable SaaS products.
