What you will do

• Critically evaluate clinical research papers and manage the end-to-end peer-review process.
• Negotiate manuscript revisions with authors to ensure the highest standards of medical and scientific reporting.
• Proactively attract key clinical trials and monitor research activity in assigned specialty areas.
• Commission Seminars, Reviews, and Global Health Series in collaboration with executive editors.
• Represent the journal at high-level international meetings and conferences to shape medical discourse.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced editorial colleagues.

Requirements

• Educated to MD or PhD level with significant research experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in London.
• Experience in a variety of health settings, both globally and institutionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with international leaders in health.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Solid grasp of technologies used in modern editorial workflows.
