TL;DR

Nurse Coach (Medtech): Managing prescriptions and providing behavioral support for patients reversing obesity and type 2 diabetes with an accent on nutritional changes and GLP-1 medications. Focus on using motivational interviewing to drive clinical success and collaborating with medical teams to build a new service line.

Location: Remote (USA). Must reside in a Nursing Licensure Compact state. Not hiring in AK, HI, and RI.

Salary: $38 - $43 per hour

What you will do

  • Manage prescriptions for obesity reversal in collaboration with medical providers.
  • Educate patients on nutritional and behavioral journeys to ensure clinical success.
  • Use motivational interviewing techniques to support patients in weight management.
  • Guide patients through obesity reversal using nutritional changes, medication, or both.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technology teams to build out a new service line using an MVP approach.

Requirements

  • Active multistate RN license and residency in a Nursing Licensure Compact state.
  • Eligible to be licensed in every U.S. state.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with diabetes or weight loss patients.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience specifically with type 2 diabetes.
  • Associate or Bachelor's RN Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience and training in health coaching or motivational interviewing.
