Focus on resolving underwriting exceptions, optimizing workflows in Vesta LOS, and ensuring strict adherence to FHA and VA deadlines.

Location: On-site in Phoenix for a minimum of 90 days during training, followed by WFH dates as approved by management.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of residential mortgage loan files from initial closing disclosure to final funding and post-closing.
• Review, submit, and deliver case files to FHA or VA, ensuring government loans are insured by obligatory deadlines.
• Utilize and pilot the Vesta Loan Operating System (LOS) to prioritize and monitor daily workflows.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve post-closing investor suspense items and compliance violations.
• Ensure all processes strictly comply with company policies, state/federal regulations, and insurer requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-6 years of cross-trained experience as a Closer, Funder, Post-Closer, or in Government Insuring.
• At least 2 years of experience with Encompass.
• Thorough understanding of federal rules and regulations, including RESPA, TILA, ECOA, and TRID.
• Experience using government portals for VA and FHA (e.g., FHA Connection, CATALYST).
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Phoenix for the first 90 days.
