What you will do

  • Lead and support a combined team of Collections and Loss Mitigation SPOC Specialists to achieve department KPIs.
  • Oversee homeowner communication regarding hardships, ensuring accurate information on repayment options.
  • Manage end-to-end homeowner journeys to ensure continuity of care through the SPOC model.
  • Supervise skip-tracing efforts and provide homeowners with alternative payment methods to prevent foreclosure.
  • Conduct performance coaching, call monitoring, and quality feedback sessions to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and Compliance teams to resolve complex cases and optimize workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing (Collections, Loss Mitigation, or Default).
  • 1–2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Deep understanding of SPOC requirements, borrower contact strategies, and case management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be based in Phoenix for on-site work.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with loss mitigation underwriting or workout options (modifications, deferrals, partial claims).
  • Experience in a high-growth, tech-enabled servicing environment.
  • Familiarity with complex investor guidelines.
  • NMLS and Collections License.
