What you will do
- Lead and support a combined team of Collections and Loss Mitigation SPOC Specialists to achieve department KPIs.
- Oversee homeowner communication regarding hardships, ensuring accurate information on repayment options.
- Manage end-to-end homeowner journeys to ensure continuity of care through the SPOC model.
- Supervise skip-tracing efforts and provide homeowners with alternative payment methods to prevent foreclosure.
- Conduct performance coaching, call monitoring, and quality feedback sessions to drive improvement.
- Collaborate with Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and Compliance teams to resolve complex cases and optimize workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing (Collections, Loss Mitigation, or Default).
- 1–2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Deep understanding of SPOC requirements, borrower contact strategies, and case management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be based in Phoenix for on-site work.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with loss mitigation underwriting or workout options (modifications, deferrals, partial claims).
- Experience in a high-growth, tech-enabled servicing environment.
- Familiarity with complex investor guidelines.
- NMLS and Collections License.
