What you will do

• Develop and execute BD strategies to drive revenue and improve frameworks for label partnerships and acquisitions.
• Identify, negotiate, and onboard successful independent record labels to increase gross revenue.
• Establish and maintain key relationships with industry professionals, including managers, agents, and attorneys.
• Manage deal points such as advances, overhead, and distribution fees in collaboration with Legal and Music teams.
• Partner with Marketing, Sync, and Finance departments to ensure the commercial success of label partners.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to guide the roadmap for label services based on customer needs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of music industry experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
• Extensive network (rolodex) of independent labels, executives, managers, and artists.
• Deep experience in high-touch label services and music distribution.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to New York.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends, and travel for client meetings.
