Salary: $150,000 - $175,000

What you will do
- Partner with the VP of Label Services and the current Label Relations Director to shape BD strategy and improve label services frameworks.
- Drive revenue growth by discovering, negotiating, and onboarding independent record labels to increase gross revenue in 2025.
- Identify labels for ventures and distribution and inform deal frameworks and deal structures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals (managers, agents, attorneys) to support label success.
- Own deal point understanding (advances, overhead, distribution fees) and coordinate with Music and Legal teams to secure agreements.
- Manage label projects within budget, schedule, and timeline while collaborating with Marketing, Sync, Brand Partnerships, Customer Operations, Legal, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
Requirements
- 7+ years of music industry experience with a strong network of independent labels, executives, managers, and artists, plus a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Experience in high-touch label services and distribution.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and close deals while representing and aligning parties to amicable outcomes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to independently set priorities, proactively identify and solve problems, and make sound business decisions under pressure.
- Located in, or willing to locate to, New York.
