What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end royalty accounting and payment processes for the exclusive artist roster to ensure contractual compliance.
• Lead the generation, verification, and tracking of third-party invoices across digital and physical revenue streams.
• Manage the release schedule for exclusive artists, coordinating with Marketing, A&R, and Product teams for DSP delivery.
• Onboard and service labels subscribing to hirify.global' label service suite, suggesting product advancements.
• Administer exclusive license agreements and oversee A&R administration, including producer agreements and sample clearances.
• Lead and mentor the Artist and Label Operations team, fostering accountability and artist-first service.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Operations Management, A&R Operations, Business Affairs, or Royalty Administration.
• 7+ years in a senior leadership role (Director or VP level) within a record label, publisher, or distributor.
• Expert knowledge of music industry royalty accounting, collection societies, and publishing rights.
• Proficiency with royalty software (e.g., RoyaltyShare, Curve) and enterprise systems like NetSuite or Bill.com.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Music Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in Brooklyn, New York.
