What you will do

• Execute targeted outbound and inbound outreach to generate high-quality leads and early-stage opportunities.
• Research and map accounts to identify key stakeholders and build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Qualify and advance deals by assessing customer needs, timelines, budgets, and decision processes.
• Collaborate closely with Field Sales to ensure seamless opportunity handoff and follow-up.
• Provide accurate quoting and pricing support and coordinate customer site visits.
• Utilize CRM and marketing automation systems to track activity and optimize outreach strategy.

Requirements

• BS in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life-science field.
• 3+ years of experience in inside sales or pipeline generation within life sciences or genomics.
• Solid understanding of genetics, molecular biology, or Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Fremont, CA.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
