What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of highly available and scalable distributed systems.
• Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices across the organization.
• Design and build full-stack solutions within cloud-native environments.
• Provide technical leadership through mentorship, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Partner with Product, Data, and Security teams to translate regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2) into technical solutions.
• Optimize system performance and resilience for high-volume transactional systems.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in one or more: Java, Python, Go, Kotlin, C#, or Node.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and Kafka/SQS.
• Advanced expertise in React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
• Comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating with healthcare platforms such as Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, or NextGen.
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and EDI standards.
• Experience in the fintech industry.
• Proficiency in AI tooling (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate the software development lifecycle.
