What you will do

• Monitor and manage delinquent accounts using collection systems, documenting all interactions and payment arrangements.
• Communicate with customers to negotiate repayment solutions and reduce delinquency.
• Research account discrepancies and analyze loan documents and credit data to resolve posting errors.
• Recommend escalation actions including repossession, foreclosure, or legal proceedings based on risk guidelines.
• Prepare collections reports and ensure strict compliance with BSA/AML and federal/state banking regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in collections, banking, or financial services.
• Knowledge of consumer, commercial, or mortgage loans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and banking systems.
• Must be based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
