What you will do

• Design and implement AI-powered features, including personalized mentor matching and automated content moderation.
• Build and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
• Develop scalable APIs and backend services in Python and Django.
• Optimize Postgres databases to ensure data architecture is AI-ready for RAG implementations.
• Utilize AI coding assistants like Cursor and Claude Code to maintain high-velocity output.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to automate internal workflows and streamline the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

• Deep experience with React and Next.js.
• Proficiency in Python and Django.
• Comfortable working with Postgres or other relational database systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Must be based in or able to work in Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid/On-site).

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or vector databases.
• Previous experience building two-sided marketplaces.
• Experience managing AWS or other cloud providers.
• Background as a college athlete or a deep passion for youth sports.
• Experience working in early-stage companies.
