What you will do
- Define and evangelize the multi-year risk strategy covering payments, account takeover (ATO), and communications abuse.
- Architect scalable risk capabilities, including universal signals and policy frameworks for the entire product suite.
- Lead complex cross-squad initiatives to integrate risk protections into the core product DNA.
- Partner with executive leadership to align on risk appetite and balance security with user friction.
- Drive the evolution of internal risk tooling and automation to reduce operational burden.
- Coordinate high-severity incident response, from rapid containment to executive retrospectives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience delivering complex, platform-level systems.
- Deep domain expertise in Fintech, Payments, Trust & Safety, or Security at scale.
- Proven experience using AI tools and automation to drive team efficiency.
- Technical mastery of system architecture, event-driven environments, and enforcement mechanisms.
- Advanced data fluency and ability to use SQL for iteration.
- Must be based in Brazil.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of account security patterns such as step-up authentication and credential stuffing defenses.
- Understanding of card and ACH network concepts including chargebacks and payout controls.
- Experience building shared platform services like rules engines and risk signal pipelines.
- Experience with enterprise-grade fraud and risk vendor management.
