What you will do

• Lead and develop an engineering team of 10–15 engineers and contractors
• Mentor engineers and managers to support their growth into technical and leadership roles
• Define and drive the technical strategy to improve developer workflows
• Guide architectural decisions and ensure high standards of software quality
• Partner with product teams to align resources and improve iteration speed
• Ensure effective developer support through SLA-backed systems and incident handling

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including senior or staff engineer levels
• 4+ years of engineering management experience, including managing other managers
• Proven ability to define and execute technical strategy aligned with product goals
• Experience leading teams through complex technical and organizational challenges
• Strong technical foundation to guide architectural decisions and evaluate tradeoffs
• Must be based in Seattle

Nice to have

• Experience with game engines such as Unreal or Unity
• Experience with automated testing
• Familiarity with League of Legends or a strong interest in the game
