Developer Advocate (AI)

Location: Remote, with a particular focus on building a strong San Francisco/Bay Area presence and running in-person local events.

Compensation: $140,000–$240,000 in cash compensation, plus equity for full-time roles.

What you will do

• Own and grow hirify.global’s global developer community, including Discord engagement, onboarding, community norms, office hours, templates, challenge weeks, help channels, and expert AMAs.
• Own hirify.global’s San Francisco-area community presence through local meetups, hackathons, and larger Bay Area events.
• Develop event programming, select speakers, deliver talks and workshops, promote events, grow attendance, and create reusable follow-on assets.
• Create and maintain hands-on technical assets such as sample applications, demos, and code walkthroughs for RAG systems, retrieval quality, knowledge management, Assistant, and other incubating products.
• Publish practical technical content through hirify.global and external channels, including tutorials, short-form videos, documentation contributions, and social posts.
• Translate community needs into product feedback and learning experiences while operating with high autonomy and judgment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a technical role such as software engineering, solution engineering, or machine learning.
• Proficiency in 2+ programming languages.
• Experience owning and growing a technical developer community.
• Experience running in-person developer events end to end.
• Experience shipping demos and sample code and teaching them clearly.
• Strong writing, live speaking, and Q&A skills.
• Fluency in LLM applications and RAG, with strong API instincts.
