Senior AI Developer Relations Advocate - Agentic Applications

Location: Hybrid work model in the United States, with on-site work at an assigned hirify.global site and off-site work. Primary locations include Phoenix, Arizona; additional locations include Santa Clara, California, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Annual salary: $170,500–$315,490 USD.

What you will do

• Own agentic and retrieval augmented generation example applications for hirify.global’s AI software stack and data center platforms.
• Build and maintain production-quality demos, blueprints, and workshop repositories that developers can run and adapt.
• Develop with vLLM, SGLang, hirify.global Inference Microservices, LangChain, MCP, and related open-source libraries and frameworks.
• Test examples in CI from a clean machine to ensure reproducibility and first-run reliability.
• Lead workshops, hackathons, and livecoding sessions at developer events and customer sites.
• Contribute upstream and turn developer feedback into improvements to examples, documentation, and products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with four years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building agentic applications with agent frameworks and tool-calling protocols such as LangChain and MCP.
• Experience with open inference libraries such as vLLM or SGLang, including serving models behind compatible endpoints.
• End-to-end experience building retrieval augmented generation applications, including retrieval, embedding, and serving components.
• Experience publishing reference applications or samples used by other developers, with visible open-source contributions preferred.
• Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, workshop, or livecoding experience, plus strong Python engineering and technical communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CPU-based and heterogeneous AI inference.
• Ability to translate developer feedback into example applications, documentation, and product improvements.
