What you will do

• Create high-quality stylized keyframe animations with strong posing and personality for real-time gameplay.
• Implement animations in Unity3D using Animator Controllers, blend trees, and state machines.
• Collaborate directly with the client's Principal Animator to ensure alignment with their vision and pipeline.
• Maintain overall animation quality and consistency while remaining hands-on in day-to-day production.
• Optimize animation solutions for performance, memory usage, and mobile constraints.
• Iterate based on gameplay feedback and technical constraints in an agile remote workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a game animator, including Senior or Lead roles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing stylized, gameplay-ready character animation (posing, timing, readability).
• Expertise in Maya as the primary animation tool.
• Proven experience implementing animations within Unity3D.
• Fluent English and experience working in a fully remote environment.
• Deep understanding of keyframe animation principles and real-time pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience working on mobile games or performance-constrained platforms.
• Familiarity with stylized or pixel-inspired animation aesthetics.
• Basic technical animation or rigging knowledge.
• Experience with procedural or semi-automated animation workflows.
