What you will do

• Lead capital raising processes, determining timing, structure, and terms for financing rounds.
• Manage relationships with institutional, strategic, and financial investors.
• Develop comprehensive investor relations strategies and reporting frameworks for transparency and governance.
• Analyze market conditions, valuation benchmarks, and comparable transactions to inform strategy.
• Identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities and M&A transactions.
• Create detailed financial models and present recommendations to leadership and the board.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in investment banking, equity capital markets, private equity, or venture capital.
• Deep knowledge of financial instruments, transaction structures, and institutional investor perspectives.
• Proven track record of executing capital raises or advising on financing transactions.
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco office according to the hybrid policy.
• Strong alignment with the mission of AI safety.
