TL;DR
Senior Technical Advisor/Delivery Manager: Managing software release delivery in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Information and Technology (OIT) with an accent on business increment planning, technical delivery, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on improving value stream performance by removing impediments and enhancing processes.
Location: Fully remote within the Continental United States with core hours of operation from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM ET.
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Annually

What you will do
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure work is properly prioritized and ready for team execution.
- Manage and coordinate technology development across teams to ensure consistent delivery.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and cross-team impacts.
- Improve value stream performance by removing impediments and enhancing processes.
- Provide guidance ensuring compliance with VA technology policies, standards, and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's with 15 years (or commensurate experience).
- Experience supporting federal IT programs, preferably within VA OIT.
- Well-versed in the VA project management methodology and other VA-related reporting methodologies.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, integration points, and technical boundaries.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies, PI planning, backlog management, and value stream coordination.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability for Public Trust clearance
Nice to have
- Prior experience supporting OHI, HDM, or VA EHR modernization.
- SAFe, PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications.
- Experience with VA infrastructure, VistA or HDM products and services.
- Experience leading DevSecOp related resources
