TL;DR
Corporate Actions Specialist (Fintech): Taking full ownership of the end-to-end corporate actions lifecycle, from announcement capture and validation through elections, entitlement calculation, to final settlement and reconciliation. Focus on shaping the process, translating it into clear documentation and system requirements, and ensuring smooth daily execution.
Location: Hybrid work setup in Germany. Individual contributors work 4 days or more per month on-site in our Berlin office.

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end corporate actions lifecycle across our growing instrument universe.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to design and scale the operating model.
- Coordinate seamlessly with external stakeholders to ensure events are processed accurately and on time.
- Manage regulatory, tax, and market reporting obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation, standardising processes, reducing operational risk.
- Build and share corporate actions knowledge internally, creating SOPs, event playbooks, operational handbooks, and policy documentation to upskill the broader team.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience in Corporate Actions Operations across fintechs, banks, custodians, brokers, or asset servicers.
- Practical familiarity with the German retail investing market and understanding of European regulatory requirements.
- Comfortable operating within custody structures and market infrastructure and can build effective working relationships with custodians and other counterparties.
- Thrive in complex exception management, confidently running investigations end-to-end and driving issues through to clear, documented resolution.
- Pair an eye for detail with a strong risk, controls, and auditability mindset.
- Communicate fluently in English (C1); German is a plus but not required.
