TL;DR

Solutions Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity): Leading a regional pre-sales technical team to drive enterprise and mid-market growth with an accent on cybersecurity expertise and channel ecosystem engagement. Focus on coaching high-performing technical teams, executing territory strategies, and delivering strategic technical value across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Dallas/Austin hybrid or remote).

Salary: $220,000–$260,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and empower a pre-sales engineering team for Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts in the TOLA region.
  • Partner with regional Sales and Channel leadership to execute territory strategy and drive go-to-market motions.
  • Leverage channel experience to strengthen partner ecosystem relationships and amplify technical value in the field.
  • Monitor KPIs, refine technical excellence, and ensure team success in exceeding direct and partner-influenced sales targets.
  • Provide strategic technical guidance throughout the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Manage talent development through structured coaching, mentorship, and high-performance recruitment.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the United States.
  • Proven experience managing a regional pre-sales engineering team in a software or SaaS organization.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity tools, network infrastructure, and cloud architectures.
  • Established relationships across the TOLA partner ecosystem and experience with channel-led business models.
  • Strong background in hands-on technical sales or technical account management.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.

Nice to have

  • Cybersecurity industry experience.
  • Familiarity with modern sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
