Python Developer (AWS)

Location: Hybrid role based in London, UK (Osterley Campus).

What you will do

• Build and operate Python-based services on AWS using microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Own services end-to-end, including deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features for video ingest and distribution.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Contribute to code reviews to maintain high engineering standards across the platform.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure service reliability.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with Python as a primary language.
• Hands-on experience building and operating services on AWS.
• Proven ability to design and deliver APIs and microservices.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to debug and resolve production issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity at the Osterley Campus in London.
