Solutions Engineer (Python/API Integrations)

Location: Hybrid role based in London, Great Britain

What you will do

• Design and implement customer-specific video platform solutions, components, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Integrate large customer datasets and develop automation for transforming customer data and metadata.
• Build bespoke integrations for connecting, migrating, transforming, and exchanging data between systems.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure, environment provisioning, release management, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support testing, validation, installation, configuration, deployment, documentation, and production readiness.
• Engage with customers in workshops and technical discussions, while providing third-line production support with global support teams.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Python and APIs.
• Understanding of Java and serverless or container-orchestration technologies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, ownership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to teach through knowledge sharing, workshops, or mentoring more junior team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with Groovy, JavaScript, AWS, or Kubernetes, including EKS.
• Knowledge of video technologies such as transcoding, DRM, ad insertion, or streaming video protocols.
• Interest in AI-powered tools, automation, and OpenSpec.
