TL;DR

UX Designer (Fintech): Designing and optimizing user journeys for online banking login experiences with an accent on accessibility, inclusive design, and usability across complex digital platforms. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Leeds for hybrid work (at least 40% office attendance)

What you will do

  • Craft end-to-end user journeys using a central design system to ensure cohesive product experiences.
  • Utilize prototyping tools to bring concepts to life and communicate designs to stakeholders and developers.
  • Balance complex business requirements with user needs derived from quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Ensure all designs are accessible and practically usable for customers of all ages and technical abilities.
  • Collaborate proactively within a multi-disciplinary squad of designers, product owners, and engineers.
  • Advocate for inclusive design practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the UK
  • Demonstrable professional experience in User Experience or Interaction Design.
  • Proficiency in creating prototypes and layouts using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Axure.
  • Strong understanding of how research data informs the interaction design process.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment in Leeds.
  • Experience advocating for accessibility and customer inclusivity in digital products.
