TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Fintech): Leading a high-performing engineering team to build and scale global products for hirify.global’s international expansion with an accent on distributed systems, robust architecture, and cross-functional technical delivery. Focus on driving complex project execution, mentoring engineering talent, and establishing high standards for system reliability and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least 4 days per week.

Salary: $264,000–$310,000 USD base pay.

What you will do

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing engineers.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of complex projects across international product surfaces.
  • Partner with product, design, and data teams to translate business goals into technical execution.
  • Guide system design and architecture to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
  • Establish engineering best practices for code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Actively recruit and develop talent to support team growth and individual performance.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of software engineering experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in engineering management.
  • Solid foundation in distributed systems and backend architecture.
  • Track record of shipping complex projects from inception to production.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work on-site 4 days per week in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY.
