Salary: $131,000 - $177,000 a year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test electronic hardware for drone detection and mitigation systems.
• Work on RF systems including signal detection, jamming, and communication modules.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes for embedded systems.
• Integrate sensors (radar, EO/IR, acoustic, RF) into defense platforms.
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in lab and field environments.
• Optimize power distribution and battery systems for portable and fixed defense platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electronics design and development (defense or aerospace preferred).
• Strong experience with analog and digital circuit design, PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, or similar), and embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, and signal processing.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) and DSP systems.
• Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice to have

• Experience in counter-UAS, radar, or electronic warfare systems.
• Knowledge of RF jamming, spectrum monitoring, or direction finding.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
• Experience with FPGA systems.
• Understanding of military standards (MIL-STD, DO-160, etc.).
