Electrical Engineer (Embedded/IoT Dev): Designing and developing advanced electronic systems for next-generation drone defense solutions with an accent on RF systems, embedded electronics, sensors, and power systems. Salary: $131,000 - $177,000 a year

What you will do
- Design, develop, and test electronic hardware for drone detection and mitigation systems.
- Work on RF systems including signal detection, jamming, and communication modules.
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes for embedded systems.
- Integrate sensors (radar, EO/IR, acoustic, RF) into defense platforms.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in lab and field environments.
- Optimize power distribution and battery systems for portable and fixed defense platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electronics design and development (defense or aerospace preferred).
- Strong experience with analog and digital circuit design, PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, or similar), and embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, and signal processing.
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) and DSP systems.
- Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Nice to have
- Experience in counter-UAS, radar, or electronic warfare systems.
- Knowledge of RF jamming, spectrum monitoring, or direction finding.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
- Experience with FPGA systems.
- Understanding of military standards (MIL-STD, DO-160, etc.).
