What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and the general ledger.
• Lead the month-end close and consolidation processes.
• Ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting and audit readiness.
• Document internal controls and implement new accounting standards.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting while exploring AI-driven process automations.
• Mentor and manage a staff accountant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably at an early-stage company.
• Prior experience managing and mentoring a team.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software such as NetSuite.
• Must be based in the continental United States.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Active CPA certification.
• Big 4 accounting experience.
• Knowledge of the Friendly PC model and its accounting implications.
