TL;DR
Sales Manager (Energy Storage): Leading the full sales lifecycle for utility-scale battery energy storage solutions across the Benelux market with an accent on complex project negotiation and customer relationship management. Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office), must be based in or able to commute to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

What you will do
- Manage the full sales lifecycle for utility-scale battery energy storage solutions.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet regional and global commercial targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering, Finance, and Legal to prepare winning proposals.
- Own long-term customer relationships, positioning the company as a key partner for future project opportunities.
- Perform regular business reviews and track project performance against strategic account plans.
- Ensure CRM documentation and sales reporting remain accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in sales, account management, or commercial roles within energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record in closing complex, long-cycle B2B projects.
- Understanding of battery energy storage systems (BESS) or renewable energy technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional deal teams.
- English proficiency: Fluent (written and spoken) is required.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Benelux energy market (Utilities/IPPs).
- Proficiency in Dutch or French.
- Experience in fast-paced, global, matrixed organizational structures.
