What you will do

• Direct and manage Data Privacy Attorneys in overseeing global compliance and responding to data breaches or privacy incidents.
• Lead responses to subject access requests (SARs) and PII deletion requests across the organization.
• Provide privacy-by-design legal counseling to product development teams for new and existing offerings.
• Negotiate master services agreements and data processing agreements with customers and third parties.
• Advise on international data transfers and support complex data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs).
• Monitor and interpret changes in global data privacy regulations and assess their impact on organizational operations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in operationalizing global data privacy laws, including GDPR, PIPL, and U.S. privacy statutes.
• Proven leadership experience in managing attorneys or legal professionals.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong ability to translate complex legal concepts for non-legal senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in healthcare or highly regulated industries.
