TL;DR

Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial): Managing complex cross-border commercial transactions and providing legal support for GTM strategy with an accent on SaaS, AI, and intellectual property compliance. Focus on negotiating high-stakes agreements with sophisticated global customers and building scalable internal legal processes.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from London or Paris

What you will do

Serve as a trusted advisor to EMEA revenue teams, from VP to Account Executive.
Lead and negotiate complex cross-border commercial software and SaaS contracts.
Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks regarding AI, data privacy, and intellectual property.
Develop scalable systems, processes, and automation to support global growth.
Partner with Finance, Sales Ops, and Deal Ops to ensure smooth contract negotiation and closing.
Provide training and enablement to the GTM organization on legal and compliance matters.

Requirements

Law degree and member in good standing in England and Wales or France (CAPA).
4-6 years of legal experience, combining law firm practice and in-house roles at technology companies.
Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex software and SaaS contracts.
Strong English technical drafting skills.
Demonstrated ability to work within the context of business objectives.
Willingness to undertake limited international travel.

Nice to have

Experience with late-stage private or early-stage public technology companies.
Working knowledge of EMEA-specific privacy regulations.
Experience building AI-related legal processes.
