What you will do
- Own, operate, and maintain the architecture and infrastructure of our data stack (e.g. BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran).
- Ensure that the data needed to understand and serve stakeholders is available, accurate, and accessible.
- Partner with various departments to understand their data needs and identify areas where the analytics stack can improve.
- Become the go-to expert on the data pipeline, data tools, and what the data means.
- Create data processes and standard operating procedures that leverage AI agent skills and rules.
- Create and own best practices for version control, documentation, testing, and other data-related areas.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience contributing to data modeling.
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience working with a wide variety of peers and stakeholders.
- Experience creating and maintaining data quality tests and logic tests.
- Established track record enabling stakeholders to use data by various means such as documentation, training, and cataloging.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and provide support globally.
Nice to have
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with the monitoring, observability, log aggregation, or APM market.
