What you will do

• Design and own the unified data model in Snowflake using scalable dbt models.
• Build analytics-ready datasets to serve as the single source of truth for KPIs.
• Establish data modeling standards, metric definitions, and governance frameworks.
• Maintain ingestion pipelines using tools like Fivetran to support new data sources.
• Develop scalable data marts and Looker dashboards for self-serve insights.
• Implement testing, monitoring, and anomaly detection to ensure data reliability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with dbt in a production environment.
• Deep expertise in SQL and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency with modern data stacks including Snowflake, Fivetran, and Looker.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge technical architecture and product/growth strategy.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python for analytics and automation.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Familiarity with feature engineering or experimentation frameworks.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or fostering a data-driven culture.
