Senior Recruiter (Mid-career / Tech) (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Minato City, Tokyo, with the office in Roppongi, Japan

hirify.global is a technology product company operating a marketplace platform, fintech businesses including Merpay and Mercoin, and new businesses.

What you will do

• Plan and execute recruitment strategies for engineering and creative roles across hirify.global Group.
• Align hiring managers and stakeholders on candidate profiles, hiring priorities, evaluation criteria, and talent requirements.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including screening, skill assessments, interviews, offers, closing, and onboarding support.
• Define emerging AI-native roles, skills, hiring standards, selection processes, and candidate experiences with hiring managers and HRBPs.
• Use hiring market trends, candidate feedback, and recruitment data to improve priorities and processes.
• Lead employer branding, event planning, direct sourcing, partner collaboration, and external community engagement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of recruitment experience in a business company or recruitment agency.
• Professional experience using both Japanese and English.
• Japanese: Independent, CEFR B2.
• English: Independent, CEFR B2.
• Experience planning and managing recruitment-related projects.
• Strong curiosity about technology, products, organizations, and market trends, with the ability to define and recruit required talent.

Nice to have

• Experience with employer branding, events, or owned media.
• Experience recruiting engineering or creative professionals.
• Experience recruiting global talent outside Japan.
• Knowledge of diversity and inclusion, AI, or data analysis.
