What you will do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new business within the assigned territory to grow the merchant network.
  • Execute a field-first sales approach through daily store visits, local event attendance, and community networking.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and drop-ins to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
  • Serve as a local market expert to identify untapped growth opportunities.
  • Maintain disciplined tracking of activity and performance metrics in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience.
  • Strong background in full-cycle B2B sales methodologies.
  • Expertise in negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must be based in the Portland, OR area.
  • Ability to travel 70–80% of the time for local and regional engagements.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
