What you will do
- Prospect, pitch, and close new business within the assigned territory to grow the merchant network.
- Execute a field-first sales approach through daily store visits, local event attendance, and community networking.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and drop-ins to negotiation and contract closure.
- Achieve or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
- Serve as a local market expert to identify untapped growth opportunities.
- Maintain disciplined tracking of activity and performance metrics in Salesforce.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience.
- Strong background in full-cycle B2B sales methodologies.
- Expertise in negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must be based in the Portland, OR area.
- Ability to travel 70–80% of the time for local and regional engagements.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
