What you will do
- Build and grow the merchant network by prospecting, pitching, and closing new business in the assigned territory.
- Lead with a field-first approach by conducting daily merchant visits, attending local events, and nurturing community relationships.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and drop-ins to final negotiation and contract closure.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
- Track activity and performance metrics in Salesforce to maintain a disciplined pipeline.
- Serve as a local market expert to identify untapped opportunities aligned with customer demand.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience with strong inside sales capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage a full-cycle sales methodology.
- Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage 70–80% travel, including local day trips and multi-night regional travel.
- Existing networks or familiarity with local fitness, wellness, or spa industries is a plus.
