Senior Cyber Underwriter (Wholesale)

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year base pay

What you will do

• Manage and grow the wholesale broker base and gross written premium while providing strong broker service.
• Manage an SMB insurance portfolio, monitor financial targets, and implement profitability strategies.
• Propose and negotiate insurance pricing, coverage, and policy terms.
• Analyze cyber and specialty commercial risks, document underwriting decisions, and service renewals and new business.
• Identify account rounding opportunities and collaborate with cyber analytics, product, marketing, technology, and data teams.
• Help create tools that improve the underwriting process.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–6 years of underwriting experience in cyber liability, Tech E&O, Media E&O, Miscellaneous E&O, other E&O lines, or specialty commercial insurance.
• Strong knowledge of specialty commercial underwriting and insurance industry practices.
• Strong technology affinity and the ability to work with advanced analytics software.
• Technical background, including familiarity with DNS, IP addresses, ports, databases, and computer networking concepts.
• Collaborative approach and ability to contribute effectively as a team player.
