TL;DR

VP of Engineering (Web3): Leading the engineering organization to strengthen execution, build leadership structure, and scale productivity with an accent on AI-driven automation and cross-team alignment. Focus on designing scalable organizational systems, managing technical leaders, and ensuring reliable delivery for complex crypto infrastructure products.

Location: Must be based in Europe

Salary: €180,000 – €250,000

What you will do

  • Oversee all engineering teams to ensure reliable, high-quality delivery and velocity.
  • Design and evolve the engineering organizational structure to support scaling.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
  • Partner with Product leadership to align engineering execution with the company roadmap.
  • Define and implement an AI-enabled engineering strategy to boost developer productivity.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve operational effectiveness across the organization.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Europe
  • Significant experience leading and scaling engineering organizations.
  • Proven track record of managing engineering managers and senior technical staff.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior engineers on architecture and infrastructure.
  • Experience in fintech, trading systems, or complex financial infrastructure.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently.

Nice to have

  • Professional experience in the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Background working with Node.js environments.
  • Previous exposure to rapid-growth startup environments.
