Salary: $140,000–$200,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java/Kotlin and Python.
• Design intuitive and performant frontend interfaces using Angular.
• Build and optimize APIs to support high-census hospital operations.
• Implement event-sourced architectures using Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications within a high-growth production environment.
• Collaborate with a small, agile team to build products from the ground up.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience.
• 2+ years of experience designing and building UI for frontend applications.
• 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying container-based applications.
• Strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Ability to work from the New York City office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with both OOP and Functional Programming paradigms.
• Familiarity with event-sourced architectures.
