TL;DR

Product Engineer (React/Node/Python): Building the first AI-native Healthcare Revenue Operating System to automate medical coding, billing, and follow-up with an accent on blending technical depth with product instinct. Location: Hybrid in New York City (SoHo office), requiring at least 3 days per week onsite

Salary: $140,000 – $300,000 + Equity

hirify.global (part of R1) is developing an AI-native Healthcare Revenue Operating System that reasons over medical records and financial workflows to automate clinical coding and billing.

What you will do

  • Build and ship full-stack features using React, Node, and Python.
  • Partner with customers, design, and research to understand real-world medical workflows.
  • Design and implement intuitive user interfaces that bring complex AI reasoning to life for the end user.
  • Own features end-to-end from initial scoping and design to final deployment.
  • Strategize on how to cleverly integrate AI to supercharge and level up healthcare operations.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from the New York City office (minimum 3 days/week).
  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience with React development.
  • Expertise across the application stack: TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and Python.
  • Proven ability to own features independently from scoping to deployment.

Nice to have

  • Visual design skills using Figma or Illustrator.
