What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performance engineering team while staying hands-on with development (approx. 50% coding).
• Drive core product UX by implementing performance improvements and ensuring high visual quality.
• Set strategy and make architectural trade-offs to ship high-quality code at scale.
• Manage complex projects involving cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop talented engineers through a results-driven culture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years of full-time management.
• Must be US-based to meet regional requirements.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong experience in modern frontend frameworks (React) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2) and cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented, iterative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs or generative AI.
• Background in distributed systems architecture.
