TL;DR

Location: Must be based in New York City and able to work onsite 3-4 days per week

What you will do

  • Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing engineering team through regular 1:1s and professional development.
  • Drive the technical and strategic vision for data partner infrastructure, ensuring scalability and interoperability.
  • Define and manage governance around release cycles, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical blockers and align product decisions.
  • Manage team metrics and KPIs to optimize productivity and engineering velocity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Must be local to New York City and commute to the office 3-4 days per week.
  • Deep technical expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and highly scalable application architectures.
  • Proven track record of managing sprint planning, goal-based project tracking, and execution.
  • Experience with API and SDK integrations in a product-focused environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in high-growth product companies or startups.
  • Experience building or scaling data marketplaces.
