Salary: $108,000 – $172,800

What you will do

• Apply technical expertise to inform the product roadmap and experiment with new technologies.
• Perform complex code modification, testing, and debugging within the mainframe environment.
• Adopt a test-first approach to software development, including unit and module testing.
• Partner with stakeholders such as Product Owners and Solution Architects to design robust solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior team members while fostering continuous team improvement.
• Participate in code and design reviews and contribute to iteration demos.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, specifically in the IBM mainframe environment.
• Proficiency in IBM Assembler/Metal C (zOS or zVSE).
• Experience implementing JCL for batch processes.
• Skilled in debugging with tools such as XDC or IPCS.
• Strong background in testing large-scale software and complex configurations.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM C, ISPF CLIST, or REXX.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and Object-Oriented programming.
• Experience working within an agile development team.
